CFP Board’s 2024 Virtual Diversity Career Fair is the go-to event for employers and job seekers in the financial planning profession.
This virtual event connects top employers in financial planning with highly qualified job candidates, including CFP® professionals, those pursuing CFP® certification and students aspiring for careers in financial planning.
CFP Board is working to build and diversify the ranks of financial planners to meet the needs of increasingly diverse consumers. All job candidates are welcome to attend the Virtual Diversity Career Fair. Women and people of color are highly encouraged to join.
" My experience at the CFP Board Virtual Diversity Career Fair was a great way to connect with potential employers. You can easily schedule a quick video call with employers you are interested in. I walked away with multiple interviews. I ended up accepting an offer for a role that aligned with my career aspirations and joined a firm with an amazing company culture! "
Morgan Everett, CFP®, Associate Advisor, Brighton Jones
" [2023 was] my second year at the event. And honestly, as a recruiter, it is sort of like my Super Bowl for financial planners every year. We've had tremendous success, not only in hiring, but with networking with other professionals. "
Kevin Lipperman, Recruiting Specialist Ballentine Partners
Over 70% of job seekers say they would likely attend another CFP Board career fair.
Four of 7 employers believe they are likely to hire at least one candidate from the CFP Board career fair.
Nearly half of job seekers expect to apply for jobs they learned about at the career fair.
Panel Session will take place from 12:15pm to 1:00pm ET.
CFP Board has seen impressive growth in the number of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professionals in recent years as well as all-time highs for numbers of new women CFP® professionals. But there is still much to be done to welcome and support gender diversity in the financial planner workforce. Less than 25% of current CFP® professionals identify as women. This panel will guide women job seekers on how to break into and advance their financial planning career.
